On today's show I talk to cartoonist Paul Hornschemeier. Based in Boston, Paul grew up in Ohio, studying psychology and philosophy at Ohio State University. After being introduced to the works of Daniel Clowes, Paul realized that comics could be a venue to discuss existential topics. A number of his books have been published by Fantagraphics including Let Us Be Perfectly Clear and The Three Paradoxes. His latest book Life with Mr. Dangerous was published in 2011 by Villard. In addition to comics, Paul created the title sequence for the Comedy Bang! Bang! IFC show and also has a YouTube channel of original animation.
